Privacy Policy
Elorian AI, Inc. (“Elorian,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information you share with us. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the Elorian platform, sign up for our model waitlist at elorian.ai/models, or interact with our services (collectively, the “Services”).
It does not cover other pages on elorian.ai — such as our blog — which are published separately and may include content embedded from third parties. Where a page embeds third-party content, that third party can see that you visited the page and may set its own cookies, under its own privacy policy rather than this one.
Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. By using our Services or submitting information to us, you acknowledge the terms of this Privacy Policy.
1. Information we collect
We collect information that identifies, relates to, describes, or is reasonably capable of being associated with you (“Personal Information”).
A. Information you provide directly to us
When you interact with our Services — such as joining our early-access waitlist, contacting us, or requesting research updates — we collect:
- Contact and demographic identifiers: name, email address, job title/role, company/organization, industry, country, and marketing source/referral information.
- Communications: content of messages, feedback, or inquiries you send to us via email or contact forms.
B. Information collected automatically
When you use the Services, we automatically collect only the technical information necessary for security and operation, such as your IP address and browser type, via standard server logs and security tools (for example, Cloudflare). Within the Services we do not use third-party analytics or tracking technologies to monitor individual user behavior or usage.
C. Model training and public data
Elorian develops advanced multimodal artificial intelligence and visual reasoning models. To train our AI architectures, we collect and process publicly available visual, text, and multimodal datasets, as well as licensed data from third-party data providers. We actively implement safeguards to avoid or minimize the inclusion of identifiable Personal Information in our underlying training sets where feasible.
2. How we use your information
We use the Personal Information we collect for the following business and commercial purposes:
- Waitlist administration: evaluating early-access eligibility, prioritizing waitlist access, and contacting you regarding model availability or beta access.
- Communications and marketing: sending product updates, research announcements, newsletter updates, and marketing communications (where you have opted in or as permitted by law). You may unsubscribe at any time.
- Improving our Services and Site: analyzing Site usage and user demographic metrics to optimize website performance, security, and user experience.
- Legal compliance and security: protecting against fraud, unauthorized activity, and legal claims, and enforcing our terms and policies.
3. Legal bases for processing (GDPR / UK users)
If you reside in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, or Switzerland, our legal bases for processing your Personal Information include:
- Consent: where you have explicitly opted in (for example, agreeing to receive marketing communications or joining our waitlist).
- Legitimate interests: to run our business, secure our Site, evaluate waitlist demand, and develop our visual reasoning models, provided these interests are not overridden by your fundamental privacy rights.
- Legal obligations: to comply with applicable laws and regulatory duties.
4. How we share your information
We do not sell your Personal Information. We share your information only in limited operational circumstances:
- Service providers and vendors: we share data with vetted third-party vendors who assist us with web hosting, database storage, and email delivery. These service providers are legally bound to protect your data and are restricted from using it for any other purpose.
- Corporate transactions: in the event of a financing, merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of company assets, user data may be transferred as part of standard corporate due diligence or transaction terms.
- Legal obligations: we may disclose your information if required by law, subpoena, or government inquiry, or to protect the safety, rights, and property of Elorian, our users, or the public.
5. Your privacy rights and choices
Depending on your jurisdiction (including California, the EEA, UK, and other state or international privacy laws), you may have the following rights regarding your Personal Information:
- Right to access / know: request details on what Personal Information we have collected, used, or disclosed about you.
- Right to delete: request deletion of the Personal Information we hold about you, subject to certain legal exceptions.
- Right to correct: request correction of inaccurate Personal Information.
- Right to opt out of marketing: click the “unsubscribe” link in any promotional email to stop receiving marketing updates.
- Non-discrimination: we will never discriminate or retaliate against you for exercising your legal privacy rights.
To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at privacy@elorian.ai.
6. Data retention and security
- Retention: we retain Personal Information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy (for example, maintaining your position on the waitlist or fulfilling legal compliance obligations).
- Security: we employ administrative, technical, and physical safeguards (including encryption, access controls, and secure server hosting) designed to protect your Personal Information from unauthorized access or loss. However, no internet transmission is 100% secure.
7. International data transfers
Elorian is headquartered in the United States. Information collected via our Services will be stored and processed in the United States. If you are accessing the Services from outside the U.S., please be aware that U.S. data protection laws may differ from those in your home jurisdiction. Where required, we utilize legal mechanisms such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) to protect international data transfers.
8. Children’s privacy
Our Services and waitlist are directed toward professionals and researchers and are not intended for individuals under 16 years of age. We do not knowingly collect Personal Information from children under 16. If you believe a child has submitted Personal Information to us, please contact us at privacy@elorian.ai so we can delete it immediately.
9. Changes to this Privacy Policy
